The Space
The open plan cabin design ensures you can continuously enjoy breath taking coastal views as the living, sleeping and kitchen area are all-in-one. This peaceful area has everything you need: a comfy sofa to curl up, WiFi and a projector for film nights, a selection of books and games and cosy wood-burner stocked with logs, kindling, firelighters and matches.
The Kitchen
The handcrafted kitchen includes a two-ring gas hob, fan oven, fridge, sink, kettle and toaster. Coffee lovers can brew a perfect blend using the drip coffee maker or cafetière. The cupboards are filled with pots, pans, trays, utensils, crockery, cups and glasses. If you fancy a bit of mixology, there’s also a cocktail shaker.
Bedrooms
Snuggle into the comfy king-size bed for a restful night’s sleep. Fitted reading lights above mean you can lose yourself in a good book into the wee small hours. The bed has been built with storage drawers underneath. Luxury, soft bed linen is provided.
The separate bunk room boasts three single bunkbeds – designed for a memory making family cabin adventure.
The Bathroom
Enjoy a refreshing walk-in rainfall shower in the ensuite shower room fitted with sink and W/C. Toiletries and towels are provided.
Power & Heating
The cabin has an electricity supply and is heated with central heating. Logs and kindling will be provided for the wood-burner, firepit and outdoor bath. Additional supplies can be purchased during your stay if required.
Outdoor Space
A covered veranda spreads across the entire front of the cabin meaning even in the pouring rain you can cosy up under a blanket on the outdoor seating, warm and dry. Blissfully soak and unwind in the wood-fired outdoor bath under the veranda. The bathtub has the most beautiful panoramic coastal views with the North Atlantic ocean spread out in front of you, on clear nights the Northern Lights can be spotted and Scotland’s northern islands peak through the horizon. Cook a hearty breakfast, or toast marshmallows on the outdoor firepit with outdoor seating. Open fire cooking equipment included.
Car Parking
The Botháns has its own car park with a space to leave your car for each cabin. You cannot drive right up to the cabin, it is a 120 metre walk along a gravel path. A wheelbarrow to transport your belongings is provided. The walkway has low level lighting.
